The General Motors Heritage Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is the third-largest auto museum in the world. Opened for group tours, the center showcases more than 150 different GM vehicles from a bygone era to the present day. The General Motors Heritage Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan, was established in 1963 as a historical Park District along the Eastern edge of Detroit. Consisting of more than three buildings, the building is designed in the Gothic revival style and houses an underground parking garage. Visitors may walk through the grand lobby, containing original stone columns, marble columns, and terra-cotta facades.
